Namangan, with its rich cultural heritage and natural beauty, holds significant potential as a key tourism destination in the
country. The paper examines the current state of tourism in the region, its opportunities, and the key challenges hindering
sustainable growth. The focus is on maximizing the economic benefits of tourism while ensuring the preservation of
natural resources, cultural heritage, and the involvement of local communities in the tourism process. Scientific proposals
and recommendations are provided to align tourism development with sustainability principles.
